I was helping my sister and brother in law move in to the Homer Glen area and I was put in charge of finding a place that delivers pizza at 12:00pm on a Saturday. So, of course, I yelped it. Enzo's was open and delivered - a win. So we ordered a 24" sausage pizza - seriously was a huge pizza. They said it feeds 8 men and it did. Delivery was quick, about 35 minutes. The think crust sausage was great. Great sausage/cheese ratio and the sauce was very good (not that bland sauce you get pretty frequently). Definitely worth a try out here in the boonies of HG. Good and hot pizza - can't go wrong with that! Talked to my sister this week and this place has been their go to on those long night of unpacking --- nice to see she found a friendly, local, delicious, pizza joint! Thanks Enzo's!

My husband and I just ordered from Enzo's tonight. It's close by which was convenient and this was the first time trying it. We ordered the classic pizza, I must say it was pretty good, but if I were to pick from enzo's and another down the street pizza place (nancy's), I would pick nancy's. I might have to just try it a second time to give it 4 stars. We also ordered the breaded mushrooms. Those were delish!

I've had this pizza a number of times. The only good thing I can say about it is that it is cheap. The last pizza we ordered from there was burnt on the bottom. Not how I like my pizza! Not much sauce on the pizza and subpar vegetable toppings. Very thin peppers and tomatoes. Could barely taste them on the pizza. Overall, not much flavor but cheap and good enough.

We've lived in Homer Glen for 10 years and never tried Enzo's until June of 2011. They always have coupons in the local newspapers. We said,''What can you lose with $5 off on a large $15 cheese pizza.'' Finding the place was hard. It had small signs in front located in a large strip mall. Unless you've been there before it was hard to locate. My wife brings a large pizza box which was advertised as a large but looked more like a medium. The sauce was bland, cheese was spread very thin and lacked in taste. It tasted just like Domino's and Little Caesar's pizza. That was the first and last time eating Enzo's Pizzeria.

They should hire another host. She has as much personality as a cardboard box. Other than that, they make a good pizza when they are paying attention to your request (Pie cut is a must. They don't understand that there).

I was at my brother's and everyone decided it was a pizza night. He recently moved into the area and hadn't tried Enzo's. We ordered thin crust sausage pizza. They were very helpful and friendly on the phone. We did end up calling back to change the order and that was no problem. Location: It is set back in in a narrow parking area, but they have a sign right on the road, so it shouldn't be hard to find. We ended up doing the carryout thing. It's very clean with a few tables for dining in. The one thing we noticed is they sold Italian sausage, both mild and hot. I was thinking this is a good sign, being the sausage must be good if they sell it over the counter. They also had other pizza ingredients for sale including pizza dough. The Pizza: I thought it was very good pizza. The crust was thin and crispy and had a good pizza crust flavor. The sauce had a slightly sweet and very good taste. For the most part, there was just the right amount of toppings, maybe they could have put a little bit more cheese, but this was more of a personal taste thing. The sausage had a very pleasant homemade taste. One cool thing they do offer is a 24" pizza. I think this could be for the next time we go here. I look forward to returning and trying some of the other food, also. This is a hidden gem that is worth trying.

This is my favorite pizza place in the Orland/Homer/Lockport area without a doubt. The food is really cheap (and there are always coupons online), the atmosphere is quiet and nice (and the employees there are friendly), and they have a Galaga and Pac-Man machine. I've only had the pizza and fries so I can only comment on those - the fries are seriously some of the best I've had. And they're $1.50 for a pretty big order too. The pizza is great also and they make a 24 inch pizza which was enough to feed me and my friends well into the next day. RC is the soft drink they sell - which is wonderful because I love RC. It's a little hard to find because it's in a hidden strip mall (it's behind a bar with neon palm trees) but it's worth it. Highly highly recommended.

Went there on a Monday after picking up children from school. Walked right in, door was open, was rudely yelled at with, Hey, WERE closed, its Monday, get out. Huh? I won't go back, ever,

I went here with my girlfriend for some lunch. The waitress sat us down and said would come soon to take our order, mind you the place was dead. It took 20min for her come get us plus we had to go up to the counter to get her attention. I ordered a pizza and my girlfriend ordered a Caesar salad. It took 15 min for my pizza and 30 min after it arrived the salad arrived...and it was a house salad. The waitress said she had to send someone to the store to pickup items for the salad because "they were busy last night"

I was not impressed. I was lured in by their promise of pizza sold by the slice and excited when the people behind the counter promised me a delicious, jumbo slice for $3. Aside from the fact that I got pizza, not much else of that promise was fulfilled! The pizza was (obviously) not fresh so I sat there while it was reheated for me, which meant it got cold again very quickly. As I got back to my friends house to eat my cold slice of kind of large (but I wouldn't say jumbo- I'm used to Bacci's huge)- I just wasn't impressed. It was easily devoured by both myself and a five year old. The sauce was cold and too sweet, the cheese just icky, and the crust too thin to support a "jumbo" slice. The reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because I'd probably come again in a pinch, but I don't think I'd order a full pizza from this place.

When I first moved in the area I was worried that i would never find a replacement pizza place of the one where I used to live. I tried a few places in town until I found Enzo's. My dreams were answered and they have been my go-to pizza joint for the last two years. The pan pizza is great if you like a thick crust. The sauce is not too sweet its more spicy, that's how I like it. The sausage is very tasty too. If your having a party and pizza is the choice, get the 24" inch pizza. You wont regret it and there isn't many places that can make it that size. Good stuff and recommend it.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
